Calling Ford Customer Service is the equi valent of a hotline in India, honestly. No help whatsoever. I can’t remember the specifics but it could be summed up as “pay for the repair and hope Ford reimburses you later”. I found my Mustang on Google Maps tho!
Now the dealer is calling Ford, so we’ll see how that goes.

I used to be such a Ford ran boy but getting the Focus St purge valve recall done with a warra ntied tune has been a nightmare.

Right? And I wanted/hoped to work for Ford after getting my Degree. For as much crap as I can give FCA and GM, I’ve heard better things about their customer service and such than Ford. It’s like we’re finally having our rose-tinted glasses slowly slide off our noses and we can’t push them back in place haha!

This is why I take my car to the local Chevy dealership service shop (Harnish Auto Family, they do service just about all makes ) . They have been nothing but professional.
They replaced my suspension components, rear axle assembly, and do full inspections on my request at oil changes. Most of the time, I provided the parts.
The only time I go to Ford is for OEM parts and computer adjustments.
